Between the Devil & The Deep Kickstarter starts is finished. 

We funded the Between the Devil & the Deep! See the Kickkstarter and get a pre-sales order at this link.Time to raise a glass of rum and celebrate. We would like to give our gratitude to you, our backers, contributors, artists and play-testers who are making BD&D possible. THANK YOU!!!

We reached stretch goals for Merida, Port Royal, and St. Augustine and Portobelo. Hence, we will add the Skullduggery rules, a 3rd scenario with 5 extra pregens, rules for large fleet engagements, and an extra full page art piece.

This is our 5th Kickstarter. This project is our first wholly digital and Print-on-Demand (POD) product. It’s also our first GUMSHOE-only project. We are very happy with the Kickstarter performance and excited to produce a top-notch product given your support.

Next Steps

We intend to complete the Beyond the Devil and the Deep PDF by the end of March, 2022. In the meantime, we will continue to keep you updated with Project Management reports. 

In the coming weeks, we have several critical tasks:

• First, we need to write the stretch-goal scenario and extra content, including new Hooks and Lore Sheets. Thereafter, we need to commission character portraits, edit the work and complete the layout.
• Importantly, we will contact all Backers at the Coxswain level to get your reference pictures and hear from you about any custom backgrounds to create.
• Although there are no physical rewards coming from us, you will be able to print the book at-cost at DTRPG. We will use Backerkit to send out surveys and track fulfillment. You do not need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey.
